Game industry women to know of 2010

by Danielle Riendeau on Feb 22, 2010 at 06:46 PM

Amy HennigSpy this Valentine’s Day treat . Published February 14, 2010,  Rhoulette of the FragDolls put up a list of “Games Industry Women to Know 2010.”

It’s a phenomenal list of developers (including Amy Hennig of Naughty Dog, who just launched Uncharted 2), journalists (Leigh Alexander of Gamasutra), design professors and the like. by Danielle Riendeau on Feb 5, 2010 at 10:24 PM

Every year, the good people at 1Up (namely, Scott Sharkey) put together a wonderful, wonderful list of good, free videogames. This year’s edition came out today, and it’s a doozy. There are more than 101 games on offer, across the strategy, platformer, shoot-em-up, puzzle, adventure/RPG and action/arcade genres, with an aptly-titled “WTF” category on the side. It’s pretty comprehensive, and seriously deserves a bookmark.

by Danielle Riendeau on Jan 18, 2010 at 01:12 PM

This is one of the coolest uses of cupcakes and gaming that I’ve ever seen. Some folks over at Steel Head Studio have created 100 gaming-related cupcakes, some from the board gaming-realm, but most from the wonderful land of videogaming.
