| Bio: | When I was a baby, my parents owned an Intellivision. When I was old enough to sit up on my own, my dad would give me the controller to play with, and I suppose that’s where my love for video games all began. I went to college, graduated, got my B.A. and now I’m here. I wrote for my college newspaper and CAD Media. I’ve also contributed pieces to Cerise Magazine and Ripten. - RE: Beanie Babies 2.0 take on Webkinz [Gamertell]Its good to hear that 2.0 is working out so well for you Stacy. :D
- RE: Darkrai coming to America [Gamertell]I'm not sure if its all Toys"r"us stores. Perhaps check in your local store? Or check the Toys"r"us official website? I checked and no list is available online yet.
- RE: Make your own hero with Marvel [Gamertell]It really is entertaining Brendan. Its a fun distraction.
- RE: Darkrai coming to America [Gamertell]@ Jema - Actually, that is confirmed. There is a story on it here at this link: http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment/prepare-for-d-day-darkrai-day-that-is/ @hi - I hadn't heard that rumor - it is an interesting prospect.
- RE: 8 things I've learned from Crisis Core [Gamertell]Glad you liked it ctworf. Yeah, Final Fantasy is often like that - sometimes you just have to go with it and accept everything. :D
- RE: Eyezmaze creates simple fun in MEET IN ver.0 [Gamertell]It really is a fun little game. I hope more versions of it are planned.
- RE: Rock Band Wii, PS2 to get new tracks, too [Gamertell]"Still Alive" isn't included? What a letdown.
- I think it is. Furcadia bored more. There was really nothing to do. The Endless Forest is, at the very least, beautiful to look at. Plus it adds an interesting screen saver option.
- RE: Jump Ultimate Stars Kakashi cross stitch [Gamertell]So Kakashi isn't cool now? :P I like Naruto, and I like that character and dogs, so I figured it'd be a perfect choice.
- RE: Naruto: Ninja Destiny unveiled [Gamertell]My cousin got it for himself Radicalx and I was a bit disappointed. It was nowhere near as great a game as Bleach: The Blade of Fate or Jump Ultimate Stars. It was a good 3D fighter for the system though, and proves 3D fighting games can play on the DS.
- RE: Darkrai coming to America [Gamertell]Hi Somebody - I'm not sure, as the event hasn't happened yet. It is being held May 31 and June 1st. http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment/prepare-for-d-day-darkrai-day-that-is/ When you attend the event, there will likely be instructions or someone there to assist you.
- Hi, I'm glad to help. They're actually official Codejunkies codes which are available through the Action Replay Code Manager client. In my client the Japanese characters don't show up, but the title is this: ??????????? ??????!!DS and it has 11 codes which all end in MAX. Since they're official Codejunkies codes, I'm hesistant to copy/paste them.
- RE: Free Star Wars book from Del Rey [Gamertell]Pretty much. :D My friend gave me a Wikipedia-esque overview.
- RE: Free Star Wars book from Del Rey [Gamertell]I've actually never seen any Star Wars movie or read any book based on it. :P I did play a bit of one of the Lego Star Wars games though!
- RE: Jump Ultimate Stars Kakashi cross stitch [Gamertell]I think it'll be a Final Fantasy one, since I already did a Pokemon cross stitch. But I'll keep cherubi in mind. :D
- RE: God of War PSP demo at the Playstation Store [Gamertell]I just visited the Playstation Store and checked - the demo is no longer there. Perhaps it was removed for a short while?
- RE: Gamertell Review: The World Ends with You [Gamertell]It definitely is Alan. I've beaten the game, and now I'm replaying to unlock all the items, secret reports and extra story. Its worth the money.
- Well Alan, its still worth hoping for. Am I right? :D
- RE: 3 of the 5 NIS DS games revealed [Gamertell]Of course I'd credit you Chris - if it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have known! Thanks again and you're welcome! :D
- I actually do own the original Maniac Mansion, but I'm just too lazy to hook up my NES. (I probably should though, I could go for some Maniac Mansion and Princess Tomato.) You make some really great points about LucasArts, Telltale Games, Hothead Games and Double Fine Productions, No need to apologize for the anonymity. The internet was made for that. :P You provided an awesome viewpoint and some great opinions, which really act as a good supplement for this post.
- True, but I like owning actual, official cartridges. Plus if LucasArts decided to rerelease it as a DS game, and saw it did well, it may inspire them to create more games like that.
- RE: NationStates 2 could be coming soon [Gamertell]See, I didn't find the first one hilarious. My friend Tom signed up at the same time as me, and the two of us would just like attack each other or something. It was kinda entertaining at first, but grew old quickly.
- RE: NationStates 2 could be coming soon [Gamertell]Yeah, I know what you mean. I lost interest in the original pretty quickly.
- I have a feeling it will be. Konami did the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side DS games, and those are 'incredibly' English friendly. Like I have friends who don't know any Japanese, and they've borrowed my TokiMemo Girl's Side 1st Love to play. I'd recommend the Hana Yori Dango Japanese TV drama series over the anime. It's more recent, has a great cast, incredible music and is just really awesome. I know there's a fansub of it floating on the internet (that's how I saw it XD). I remember when I first watched it, it was thanks to this Himura Kaoru site. My friend had downloaded the whole first season and said that I 'had' to watch at least the first episode. Its a nice, guilty pleasure. :D
- RE: Beanie Babies 2.0 take on Webkinz [Gamertell]Yeah, it seems like the Beanie Babies are definitely a thing of the past now. The whole pet virtualization process for the Ty virtual pets is seriously messed up. It almost makes games like Mortal Kombat seem more tame. I played that when I was like 8 or 9 and that seems to pale in comparison of a 'monster' nearly attacking a stuffed puppy. :P
- You know, I'm starting to agree actually. I wasn't a fan before, but after replaying both "Perfect Insanity" and "Inside the Fire," they're growing on me. I'm not sure if you'll be able to add it to a Myspace. Maybe check the official Rithum homepage at www.rithum.com?
- Yup, thats exactly what I said in the article above. :D
- I know, right? It was slow at work today when I was writing this up, so I ended up playing about 6 times in a row until I mastered the standard "Perfect Insanity." The song actually ended up growing on me. Its diabolical. XD
- RE: Eight great video game role models for women [Gamertell]Hi gen, You have some great suggestions for strong female leads. :D I just wanted to focus on rpg characters for this short article, because there really are quite a few major female characters out there.
- RE: The Sonic Chronicles aliens need a name [Gamertell]I have a feeling you could be right Nijel. All the hype just seems like too much. A Sonic RPG is a nice idea, but I'm very skeptical if it can be executed properly.
- RE: Finding a Home for PS3 owners [Gamertell]lol Alter Ego and Second Life both run on Macs. And Alter Ego is surprisingly addicting for being text based! I just started just to get a screen shot, and then I got addicted. I couldn't stop playing and reading because I 'had' to graduate college, get married and have kids.
- RE: 8 things I've learned from Crisis Core [Gamertell]Thank you so much Katie. XD Its just such a funny and great game on its own, so it was easy to think up funny little blurbs for it.
- Wow! Club Live really sounds amazing. Thanks for letting us know about it Sarah! I'll have to stop by and make an account there.
- That is pretty good. Its nice to see that at least one company really cares about European fans and makes an effort to have almost simultaneous releases. :D
- RE: Four games that go Green [Gamertell]Hi Josh - That's a really great point! I can't believe I didn't think of that. XD
- RE: The Rondo of Swords guide to grinding [Gamertell]Yup! Exactly! Then you take the money you spent on Rondo to pick up The World Ends with You. (j/k)
- RE: Wii Fit a wee bit expensive [Gamertell]I guess I just expected the 'game' to be a bit cheaper since it really isn't a game. :P I doubt the Balance Board will have real staying power. Somehow I see it being like the NES R.O.B. or powerglove. XD
- RE: Webkinz stadium sadness [Gamertell]I think it will just take the company time to realize that its actions are hurting consumers. Perhaps it will cause the sale of the Webkinz toys to dib, and that will snap Ganz to its senses.
- RE: Gamertell Review: Rondo of Swords [Gamertell]Hi Anthony - I've finished and beaten Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi, Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, Yggdra Union, all the NIS games released in the US and every Advance Wars game. Out of all those, I'd say Rondo of Swords is hands down the most challenging. Of course everyone's different. :D All I know is if someone doesn't take the time to quit battles repeatedly to grind, then they're going to be in for a world of hurt.
- RE: God of War PSP demo at the Playstation Store [Gamertell]Hi non of ur business - If you visit this link and choose your region, it will provide a link to the download program for acquiring demos. http://store.playstation.com/game/instructions.vm
