Aonuma will not stop until he makes a game better than Ocarina of Time
Eiji Aonuma, the director of Ocarina of Time and every subsequent Zelda title, recognizes that Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time is considered to be one of the best games ever. He’s made it clear that, in his lifetime, he will create an experience will be made that will successfully knock Ocarina of Time off of its proverbial throne…
Amazon offers RPG bargain buys in honor of Cyber Monday 2008
Amazon is doing a great job of turning me into an every day lurker because it just keeps surprising me with its unbelievable deals on video games. In what I assume is an ode to Cyber Monday, Amazon is currently offering some great role-playing games (including brand new releases and pre-roders) at rock-bottom prices. This means that in addition to taking advantage of these thrifty sales tags, shoppers will also save on sales tax and receive free shipping so long as the order totals $25 or more.
It’s hard to say how long these prices will stay up, so you had better act fast and take advantage of these bargain bin finds. It looks like RPG fans will be able to stuff themselves full of something else besides just turkey this holiday season…

I did find a few listed on the Kohl’s and Sears web sites…

PETA plans to make more games to promote its cause

Although PETA may have been involved in a controversial back-and-forth with Majesco over its latest Cooking Mama game, it must have found worth in the game’s inherent ability to make players aware of the joys of international cooking and cuisine.
Now PETA - which said in an interview that the point of its Cooking Mama parody title was to “make players aware of their ‘Make Your Meat’ video, a disturbing video of a corporate turkey farm - has decided to continue using the power of games to promote…

For buyers who have been on the fence about buying a Playstation 3, perhaps what is offered here should aid in tipping your funds towards Sony’s cause.

Study debunks belief that playing with your Wii can lead to aggression
Confirming something most of us already know, a new study coming out of Villanova University indicates that motion controls do not increase aggression in people who play violent video games.
Certainly inspired by the controversy controversy surrounding the Wii release of Manhunt 2, a study titled “An examination of psychoticism and motion capture controls as moderators of the effects of violent video games” (Patrick M. Markey and Kelly Scherera, 2008, Department of Psychology, Villanova University) examined the “hostility and aggressive thoughts” in individuals while they played Manhunt 2 as well as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
