Pros: You get to be a movie star! You can play as Dangeresque, Strong Bad’s action star alter ego. Plus you get to see what horrible actors the characters of Strong Bad are.
Cons: Not enough action. I wanted to blow stuff up but it just didn’t happen.
Overall Score:Two thumbs up; 98/100; A; * * * * 1/2 out of five.

This episode is the best in the series so far. Even if you didn’t like any of the other Strong Bad games, you will like this one…

It’s time for the second installment of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People: Strongbadia the Free. In this game you play as Strong Bad who was put under house arrest after the King of Town went power crazy an invented several new tax laws that Strong Bad has yet to pay.

Sam & Max: Season One 1 Wii box artIt’s been a long time coming, but Sam & Max are finally going to arrive on the Wii. On October 7, 2008, Telltale’s Sam & Max: Season One will be available in stores for $29.99 - not bad, considering you’re getting six episodes. Fans of the game may have already picked up the PC version of Sam & Max: Season One when it came out in August, 2007, but the Wii version has a few improvements, like widescreen support.

Game designer Mark Darin blabs about Strong Bad

strong bad at homeMark Darin, one of the graphic designers for the newStrong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People was available for an interview at the Telltale Games booth at Comic-Con 08, where he was thrilled to talk about the game and share some new information.

Strong Bad will be a full out adventure game, with extra goodies and side stuff.” Said Darin when asked about the game. Darin indicated that the sense of humor fans enjoyed in Homestar Runner will continue in Strong Bad. Each episode will be supplemented with a rich and realistic storyline (realistic for Homestar, anyway). Expect to have fun with the game as well as laugh, “These episodes will be very much based on the storylines, the humor of it will be an added bonus.” Says Darin.

Telltalle Games releases new Sam & Max trailer, free episode

If there’s going to be a game based on a dog and a rabbit-type creature who go around busting up crime, there’s no better place for it to go than to the Nintendo Wii. Sam & Max Season 1 will be released Fall 2008 in the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

Sam and Max Season 1 is a port of the popular PC point-and-click series with six episodes making up the entire game. You’ll be able to play the episodes in any order without mixing up the overall story. The hypnosis-themed plot of the game introduces off-the-wall characters with comedy to match.
