Bugdom 2 migrating to the iPhone and iPod Touch

Pangea Software is expanding its iPhone/iPod Touch game library with a port - Bugdom 2. Bugdom 2 is a classic platformer originally released for Macs by Pangea back in 2002. The company has decided to rerelease and revive the family friendly game starring anthropomorphic insects, animals and lawn gnomes.
In Bugdom 2, players act as a grasshopper named Skip who’s backpack was stolen by Bully Bee. You have to engage other insect enemies on a quest to get your stuff back. Apparently, not all insects and animals are out to get Skip - Sam the snail and Sally the chipmunk both help Skip if he’ll prove himself or cough up acorns, and you can call on Buddy Bugs to help you fight the bad bugs…

Gamertell Review: Mass Effect for PC
Title: Mass Effect
Price: $49.99
System(s): PC (Xbox 360)
Release Date: May, 28, 2007
Publisher (Developer): Microsoft (BioWare)
ESRB Rating: Mature for Blood, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, Violence
Pros: Great storyline, interactive dialogue, good character customization, great graphics, deep game play, fixed console technical issues, great interface
Cons: Too short, game play a bit slow, repeating locations, no expansion episode
Overall Score: Two Thumbs Up, 98/100, A, * * * * 1/2 Stars
With most, if not all of the major technical issues now resolved, Mass Effect for the PC is a more enjoyable experience than its Xbox 360 counterpart. While there hasn’t been much new added to the general game content, PC gamers who are new to the series will certainly want to see what last year’s hype was all about.

Yggdra Union regroups on the PSP

Yggdra Union, the strategic rpg story of Princess Yggdra, the holy sword Gran Centurio and the thief Milanor and their battle to restore Fantasinia, is going to be resurrected. Atlus will be releasing the PSP port of the 2006 GBA game in North America, just like it did with Riviera: The Promised Land.
The battle system can be a bit complicated in Yggdra Union. You can only move all characters a certain number of spaces. Then you must choose which of the cards you have available for the unit to attack an opposing unit. You then watch your unit attack the other one. After the battle is finished, the winning unit’s morale is raised, and the losing unit’s morale is lowered. Like in Fire Emblem, certain unit types are strong or weaker than others, so you really have to think ahead.
