KFC and Guitar Hero World Tour. I guess its a play on words - finger licking good chicken and fingers licking chords of the guitar. Gamertell Review: Sea Life Safari for Xbox Live

by PJ Hruschak on Aug 1, 2008 at 07:26 AM

Title: Sea Life Safari
Price: 800 Microsoft Points (US$10)
System(s): Xbox Live
Release Date: June 18, 2008
Publisher (Developer): Sierra Online (Wanako)
ESRB Rating: “Everyone”
Pros: Some nice graphics and potentially entertaining for young gamers who like to collect stuff.
Cons: Too short, a bit too easy, promotes throwing stuff at fish and an awkward representation of photo judgment.
Overall Score: One thumb sideways, one thumb down; 69/100; D+; * 1/2 out of five.

Forget the breathing apparatus. Never mind chartering a potentially expensive boat. Don’t even worry about a stinky wetsuit. Sea Life Safari widdles down a tour of the colorful sea floor to a few voyeuristic minutes without the expensive hassles. Instead, you float around and simply take pictures of just about everything that moves and the entire game lasts about as long as your average diving cylinder.

The service works similarly to other…

Gamertell Nokia Ovi Screen

If you weren’t already confused by Nokia’s repruposing of the N-Gage name, get this. Nokia has also announced that it is launching a new web service, Ovi, that combines both the N-Gage service and the Nokia Music Store.

For now the home page has one of those long Flash videos that tries to make the site look cool in lieu of anything useful. Once through the annoy-imation, the links are active, though most of the pages are barebones PR info that makes it sound like Nokia wants in on the social networking game as well.
