Bugdom 2 migrating to the iPhone and iPod Touch

Pangea Software is expanding its iPhone/iPod Touch game library with a port - Bugdom 2. Bugdom 2 is a classic platformer originally released for Macs by Pangea back in 2002. The company has decided to rerelease and revive the family friendly game starring anthropomorphic insects, animals and lawn gnomes.

In Bugdom 2, players act as a grasshopper named Skip who’s backpack was stolen by Bully Bee. You have to engage other insect enemies on a quest to get your stuff back. Apparently, not all insects and animals are out to get Skip - Sam the snail and Sally the chipmunk both help Skip if he’ll prove himself or cough up acorns, and you can call on Buddy Bugs to help you fight the bad bugs…

Price drop on Pangea iPhone and iPod Touch games

Enigmo screenshotSome of the iPhone and iPod Touch applications can get a bit pricy. (Frogger for $9.99.) There are some great games available at much more reasonable prices through iTunes, from Pangea Software. The company is temporarily discounting all of its applications - you can now get a game for $1.99.

Of Pangea’s five applications, three are games and two are photo applications. The Enigmo puzzle game has dropped from $9.99 to $4.99, the space-Western mini-game Billy Frontier price was $5.99 and is now $3.99, the racing game Cro-Mag Rally went from $5.99 to $1.99 and Beer Bounce, where you bounce quarters into a glass of beer, went from $2.99 to $1.99. Pretty good deals, if you’re looking for a game. Beer Bounce is rated 17+, while Cro-Mag Rally and Enigmo are rated 4+ and Billy Frontier is rated 7+...

Pangea announces Cro-Mag Rally and Enigmo for iPhone

FROM APPLETELL - Brian Greenstone of Pangea Software announced two games for the iPhone at the WWDC keynote today. Already favorites on the Mac, Enigmo and Cro-Mag Rally will both be available for $9.99 each.
