Fairy’s Whisper now part of Wonderland Online
Igg’s MMORPG Wonderland Online, which is certainly one of the most pastel free-to-play massive multiplayer games, has updated to include its third expansion Fairy’s Whisper. This news comes shortly after the launch of the new Scorpio server on November 11, 2008. The new update means there are more characters, things to do and places to see. Plus, you can have your character pick a fighter or mage class.
The Fighter and Mage classes, and the new rebirth system, are probably the highlight of Wonderland Online: Fairy’s Whisper. Level 100 players can be reborn by taking the Accession Official’s quest, and can then choose to be…

4Story’s open beta is on
A new, MMORPG from Zemi Interactive called 4Story has just entered the open beta phase. Technically, it began on October 20, 2008. The open beta has added new tutorial quests for beginners just joining the game, and also fixed some game bugs and image issues.
Like many MMORPGs, 4Story takes place in a fantasy world, where players adventure trying to become the strongest and stop a war that has been continually happening among three different nations. An interesting twist is that players are able to travel through time to take on different quests and stop the war. Also, since the game takes place during a war, the areas you can visit vary from time to time, depending on what areas your kingdom currently controls…
True Games to publish MMO Warrior Epic
True Games has just announced that it has permission to distribute Possibility Space’s Warrior Epic, a free-to-play MMORPG, around the world, and will do so throughout early 2009. Warrior Epic is going to provide traditional MMORPG adventuring action, but also appear to have a slight strategic edge as well.
The official press release mentions that those who play Warrior Epic will be able to control multiple characters and a Warrior Hall, as well as mentioning standard single player missions, multiplayer missions and player versus player battles. So it almost sounds like Warrior Epic will provide a bit of a management sim aspect, where you send out your warriors, to complement the standard MMORPG gameplay…
5 questions help determine if Mabinogi’s storyline quests are worth paying for

A unique aspect of Mabinogi is that it has a constantly expanding storyline with special quests that people subscribing to premium services have access to. When you first visit the game’s homepage, you’ll likely see an announcement discussing Generation X Season Y. This is a quick way to determine what the latest game updates are and the most recent storyline.
At the moment, the North American version of Mabinogi is in Generation 3 Season 2. (The Korean version is in Generation 9.) This means, if you end up subscribing to a premium service, you will start with the Generation 1 storyline, and then work your way through 2 and 3.
The question is, are the storyline quests in Mabinogi right for all players? Some casual players may be more than satisfied with the free content offered throughout the game, especially since the storyline quests require a bit of commitment to complete. Gamertell has compiled five questions to ask yourself to determine if the Mabinogi Generation quests are worth paying for a premium service for…
How To: Get started in Mabinogi

Mabinogi doesn’t offer any in-your-face or lengthy tutorials when you first begin playing. Instead, you receive a spirit weapon which will answer any questions you have while playing, and owls will deliver scrolls with quests to your. So people familiar with RPGs or MMOs shouldn’t have any problems jumping right in.
Those who are new to the genre may need a bit help to get started. So to help you out, Gamertell has gone through the beginning of the game, to help you get accustomed and settled in, until you receive your first title. The game’s “tutorial” section can be described as consisting of five quests which send you around Tir Chonaill, performing basic tasks for people, learning a few skills and meeting some of the residents…
How To: Determine if you need a Mabinogi Premium Character Card
Mabinogi has two character card options. Every account starts with a basic Character Card, which allows you to create your first character. However, you can later rebirth that character, or add another character to your account, via Basic and Premium Character Cards purchased in the Premium Shop.
Extra character cards are going to cost you real money either way. A Basic Character Card costs 7,900 NX/$7.90 and a Premium Character Card costs 9,500 NX/$9.50. Both function in the same way - each one can be used to create a new character or rebirth one of your existing characters. If you start with a Premium Character, you can use a Basic Character Card when you rebirth, and vice versa, so don’t think that once you’ve chosen an option, you always have to stick with it for that character.
It all comes down to customization. Characters created with the cards will be identical when it comes down to character statistics. The only difference will be physical. The Premium Characters will have a special outfit and more hair, eye and mouth customization options than a Basic Character. But, you don’t necessarily need the more expensive card. So today, Gamertell is going to review the perks and problems with each Character Card. Hopefully, after reading, you’ll know which one is best for you…
