Microsoft's 'New Xbox Experience'

Microsoft is set to unveil its “New Xbox Experience” to eager 360 owners on November 19, 2008. This update is set to revamp the 360’s entire dashboard and introduce “avatars,“ which are characters that players can customize to suit their own whims.

This “new experience” will come at a cost of 128 MB of hard drive space; while this may not be a problem for 360 owners who have purchased sufficient memory sources, there remains a large amount of individuals who have not. For these people, Microsoft has promised to come to their aid…

PopCap games may offer way to curb ADHD tendenciesIt’s difficult for the parents of a child diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) to find ways to control their child’s disorder and help him or her live a normal childhood.

popcap bridges the gap According to a recent survey by Information Solutions Group and PopCap Games, gaming can help parents and grandparents bond with their children. Most of the people involved in the survey agreed that gaming can be beneficial in areas such as hand-eye coordination, mental exercise and memory. As some games are now used in therapy and education, parents see them as a beneficial learning tools and are getting involved with them and this leads to bridging the gap between the generations and gives them a common interest.
