Valve Complete Pack now available on Steam
As many zombie hunters know by now, Left 4 Dead is coming out on November 18, 2008. It’s made by Valve who has an impressive resume stemming back to the days of the original Half-Life and Counter-Strike.
If you may have missed out on the classics or every Valve game in general, now’s your chance to make up for it. Valve is offering every single game the company has ever made in one $99 package only on Steam. Now we know that $99 seems a little pricey on the surface especially in these tight times we live in but this is still a deal.
It’s worth noting that…

Whack the Dead (not the moles) on your iPhone, Mac and PC
People familiar with mole whacking games may initially have trouble with Phelios’ Whack the Dead, since moles, zombies and people will pop up from the holes. The goal in the new iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac and Windows game is to whack zombies who pop up from the graves for points. To trip players up though, moles and normal humans may also pop up from the holes.
Depending on which version you choose, Whack the Dead may even be free. The iPhone and iPod Touch version of the game (available through the iTunes App Store) costs $2.99. The Mac and Windows versions, however, are available as free downloads through the I Play Phone Games site. Its a good marketing idea - test the game for free, and if people like it, they’ll buy it…
Beer Bounce for $0.99 (hic) for iPhone, iPod Touch (hic)
Earlier in September 2008, Publisher X risked facing the wrath from all the do gooders in the world by releasing Beer Bounce on the App Store for use on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game has a simple premise involving bouncing many types of coin currency into a beer mug. If that sounds like something you do every Friday night, you might want to hold on to a few of those coins because Beer Bounce is now available for the special promotion price of $.99.
The promotion started…
Appletell Review: The Movies: Stunts and Effects for Mac
FROM APPLETELL - With the release of The Movies: Stunts and Effects, your films can now be even cooler. Well, provided you feel that stunts and effects are cool to begin with. The romantic comedy types may not need this, but those who share my belief that every single movie ever made could’ve been enhanced with a prolonged sword fighting skeleton scene (especially all those Jennifer Lopez movies that weren’t called The Cell) will find plenty to enjoy here… MORE »

Majic Jungle releases Chopper for iPhone, free Mac demo

In the slew of iPhone games being announced this week, Majic Jungle has tossed in Chopper. Previously released as a downloadable Mac app, the game is available for $7.99 through the Apple App Store.
Chopper is a side-scrolling shooter where you pilot a helicopter through 60 levels of tanks and other ground-to-air attacks while flying over various terrains.
