Brash Entertainement making game based on Fox’s Prison Break

We know that game tie-ins to a movie usually end in utter disaster. Ironically enough those games tend to sell very well despite their quality. Brash Entertainment knows that which is why they’ve published movie games including Jumper: Griffin’s Story, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Space Chimps. Brash’s latest endeavor moves beyond cinema adaptations and into television with a game based on the television show Prison Break which is scheduled for release in February 2009 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Proof of the games existence came from an ad inside the Prison Break Season 3 DVD box set telling us all of…
Legend of Zelda cross stitch
My latest cross stitch was a request from one of my best friends. She’s a Legend of Zelda fan, so she asked if I could make a Link for her. This was the result. It is Link, accompanied by a little Navi. (If you’re a Phantom Hourglass fan, you can pretend that it is Ciela.)

Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong, evolved

Fubiz has just posted an awesome graphic depicting the evolution of Nintendo’s most popular characters. Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong are shown in every generation’s incarnation from the early arcade/NES days right up to their detailed Smash Bros. Brawl models. There are a few oddities (Donkey Kong appears in his Mario Kart form, yet Mario doesn’t, and some handheld iterations get thrown in to the “wrong” generation), but it’s a fun reminder of how far these characters have come.
The blog is mainly in French, so the comments section is a little confusing to anyone who snoozed during French class in high school, but the chart really speaks for itself. It’s interesting to note that the Gamecube era Link appears to be more Soul Calibur 2 than Wind Waker (as would be expected). A strange comment on Wind Waker’s place in the series, or just a mistake - you decide.
