Nintendo’s most embarrassing moments at E3 2008

Did you watch Nintendo’s E3 conference? Then you probably cringed a few times. The Minus World has an awesome list of the top five most embarrassing moment’s of Nintendo’s press event, including Cammie Dunaway’s tales of snowboarding woe and the awkward moments of silence from the crowd at each “big announcement”. The funniest of the moments happens at number two, aptly titled: “Nobody Knew How To Actually Control Anything”:
“Reggie demoed a jet ski mini game by waving his arms wildly and erratically steering like a kamikaze alcoholic stunt car driver and we were left more confused than informed. Next time hire somebody who actually plays video games to, you know, actually play your video game.“
Nice. I have to say, I thought the most embarrassing moment was Reggie’s statement that he was “The Regginator” but I suppose that was funny (or crazy) enough to qualify as “awesome” instead of ‘embarrassing”. Oh well. Check out the list for the rest - with a few wonderful pictures to illustrate the hilarity.
