According to the company’s press release, more than 250,000 songs are played each day in GH3M with the most played songs being…
Free SAGA at FileFront

The retail version of the massive multiplayer online real time strategy (MMORTS) title SAGA is now available for free for a limited time at FileFront. The site will be giving away 50,000 retail keys with downloads of the game between today (May 7, 2008) and May 11, 2008. The full version of the game normally costs $19.95, and you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to continue enjoying retail-only extras. It’s a pretty good deal, considering SAGA came out March 4, 2008.
If you don’t get to FileFront in time to get a free retail version of SAGA, then don’t worry. You can still enjoy the free version of SAGA, which can be downloaded at the official website. The differences are somewhat substantial - the retail version allows players to spy on each other, trade with other users, form guilds and engage in combat with other players.

Opinion: New Guitar Hero III tracks hit Xbox Live, Rock Band still better
![]()
Activision is supporting the success of Guitar Hero III with new downloadable content on Xbox Live. Song packs by epic seventies bands went live yesterday (January 24, 2008) and are available for the cost of 500 Microsoft points, or $6.25 (US).
Now I’m not saying Guitar Hero III is a bad game, but I never thought the song lineup was impressive to begin with, especially not when compared to the bad-ass-ery that is Rock Band. It’s like Guitar Hero III is suddenly realizing “Hey, we completely forgot about the seventies. What’s wrong with us?” and now they’re trying to catch up…
Microsoft to offer free Xbox Live game as apology for down time

Microsoft is once again it is apologizing. No, not for consoles bursting into flames, again (at least, not that we know of). This time, Microsoft has the unfortunate problem of too many Xbox Live users glogging the network. I know - so much money coming in for a paid service and still connections are failing.
In an effort to make amends, Microsoft is going to allow every Xbox Live subscriber to download one XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) game for free. The details are still a bit sketchy as to whether or not it will be any game, one from a list of games or a single, predetermined game.
