If Amazon is any indication, Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel will be out March 31, 2009 and cost $19.99…

by PJ Hruschak on Apr 1, 2008 at 09:48 AM

gamertell atari mcdonalds mail-in offer
For a limited time, McDonald’s will be offering a Whopper-ing $10 mail-in rebate for the Atari VCS (aka 2600) gaming system. I got my hands on the mail-in form from a secret source. I would load it to the Gamertell BBS computer for you to look at but it doesn’t convert to ASCII very well.

In addition to the $10 rebate, the form also offers $3 rebates on 15 great Atari cartridges including…

Lost Crown screen
Got Game Entertainment recently (July 11, 2007) announced the North American release of supernatural adventure title The Lost Crown: A Ghosthunting Adventure for the PC in October 2007. The title was created by Jonathan Boakes (the Dark Fall series), and inspired by classic ghost stories and modern ghost-hunting techniques.

The adventure title centers on treasure hunter Nigel Danvers and his mystery-solving experiences in a creepy English seaside town. Gameplay is standard adventure fare with a twist – players wield the tools of a paranormal investigator as they solve puzzles and explore a world that is half black and white, half color.

According to the press release, some interesting non-traditional research went into the making of the game, which includes ...
