I know it’s a bit early to start thinking about additional content, seeing as most people probably haven’t even logged 10 hours in the game, but it’s good to keep it in mind. That way you’ll know when you need to get those Microsoft points to purchase it. Xbox 360 owners will be able to download two additional Grand Theft Auto IV episodes, and they’ll probably want to know when. So far the first additional installment has an August 2008 release date, and the second episode will be made available sometime after that.
While the first episode isn’t available yet, there is still plenty that Xbox 360 owners can do with Grand Theft Auto IV and Xbox Live. Perhaps tonight you should join up with some of your friends to explore Liberty City together in the multiplayer mode. Of course by explore I mean try to one-up and out-do one another.
The episodes are only available for Xbox 360 users, thanks to Microsoft’s deep pockets and desire to succeed. Forbes.com reported that Microsoft paid Rockstar Games, the Grand Theft Auto creators, $50 million to develop the two episodes solely for the Xbox 360.
