Microsoft has announced the rest of its Summer 2007 Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) lineup. Games set for release in August 2007 include the original Ecco the Dolphin, Hexic 2 and Ubisoft’s War World. Coming soon after will be Geon: Emotions, Puzzle Quest, Space Giraffe, Streets of Rage 2 and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix.

Along with Track & Field coming out tomorrow (August 8, 2007), this is a pretty solid lineup and a nice mix of old and new properties. We have old-school hits Ecco and Streets of Rage 2 from Sega and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 from Capcom, along with super-addictive puzzler Hexic’s sequel, new Action/puzzler Geon, action/strategy from Ubisoft’s War World, and psychedelic tempest-esque shooter Space Giraffe. If you aren’t already hopelessly addicted (or completely sick of) Puzzle Quest, that’s another option.

XBLA is shaping up nicely as the Wii Virtual Console’s competition, despite a smaller (but perhaps more diverse) library.
