In a Top Cow panel discussion with company president Matt Hawkins on the final day (April 20, 2008) of the New York Comic-Con, Hawkins confirmed that two of Top Cow’s most popular titles are getting videogame tie-ins. The first is Witchblade, Top Cow’s most popular book, who some of you might recall had a short lived cable TV series and crossed the Pacific as an anime series. The second is Hunter/Killer which tells the story of living super weapons known as Ultra Sapiens.
When questions arose about a possible sequel to 2007 hit title, The Darkness, Hawkins was quick to deny rumors of a possible sequel in the works but didn’t say that it was out of the question for future development. Regardless, it is Witchblade that will be the next Top Cow title that will hit store shelves first.
