This week, the Virtual Console is sporting one new title, instead of the now-typical two. SNES gem Super Turrican joins the ranks of VC games this week, offering up classic 2d action.  All VC titles are available on the Wii Shop channel, with a fresh batch arriving every Monday at 9 AM PST. Wii points can be purchased at a rate of $1 for 100 points. The new game brings the North American count to 206.

Super Turrican: (Super NES), 1 player, Rated E 10+ for Everyone 10 and Older – Fantasy Violence, 800 Wii Points): You are Bren McGuire, on a United Planets Freedom Forces mission to save the peaceful planet Katakis from the Machine, source of all that is cruel and evil in the universe.
