Hudson Entertainment recently made two big announcements concerning the upcoming Bomberman Land games for the Wii, DS and PSP. First, the Wii and PSP versions of Bomberman Land and the DS title Bomberman Land Touch! 2 will all be released on January 29, 2008. Second is that all three titles have also officially received gold status. All three of the Bomberman titles will cost $29.99 and will be rated E.
The forthcoming Bomberman Land games feature the traditional Bomberman grid play in both single and multiplayer modes. Each also have single player adventure modes where players venture forth as Bomberman trying to help save the his world by deciphering puzzles and blowing things up. All three titles also have mini-games included in the multiplayer game modes, with 50 in the Bomberman Land games and 40 in Bomberman Land Touch! 2. The only downside to the PSP and DS versions of the games are that only local wireless will be supported for the multiplayer mode.
Blowing things up is always fun, so it is no surprise that already these Bomberman games are getting attention. The Wii version of Bomberman Land seems like it will be the best deal, considering it not only has a value price, but also has 50 mini-games.
