Webkinz Spring Festival on March 23
A Spring Festival is coming to the Webkinz world on March 23, 2008. Like previous festivals, a gift will be delivered to the dock of each Webkinz user who takes the time to log in on that specific date. Like most of the festivals for the internet game, there will also be items flying by that, when clicked, provide users with a random treat. WebKinzBlog already has reported that Ganz has put users on the alert for flying eggs. Users with quick reflexes can click on the floating eggs to receive chocolate eggs.
The Spring Festival is a yearly event on Webkinz, and each year different items have been given away to users as a little Easter/Spring gift. The Webkinz Insider reports that the festival in 2006 gave white rabbit ears and chocolate eggs and the 2007 festival gave pink rabbit ears and marshmallow rabbit heads. Judging by previous gifts, this year should also provide some kind of rabbit ear accessory that a Webkinz pet can wear and a kind of candy.
I think its a cute idea. Its kind of like a virtual Easter egg hunt for kids. Since its snowing here in Chicago, it is a nice indoor activity for kids who want to get into the spirit of spring.
