Wazap! Game browser shuts down American, Chinese and German sites
It was early October 2007 when Wazup! launched its US game browser site but, with much sorrow, all except the Japanese versions of the site have already been shut down.
I go on vacation, come back to look for a tip on how to get past the generators in Lair on the site to discover site had shut down earlier this month (January 2008). So, I asked my fellow North Carolinian and Wazup! director of marketing, J.P. Sherman, what had happened.
“Lucy, as always, there’s a long and short story. I haven’t been given clearance to give the long story at the moment ... but the short story is that Wazap! is dead,“ he said and hinted that had he known this would happen he would have never left NC. “Who knows what the future will hold, but for now, there are no plans to bring back Wazap!. The German, Chinese and American entities have been shut down and we’re all looking for work. Our deathblow came as a surprise and out of the blue… We had no idea this would happen.“
I felt that had the main company given the site just a little more time it would become a great help for those of us still searching for that one hint to gain the upper hand in our games. Those who still want to use the site (and can read Japanese) can still visit the Japanese site at http://jp.wazap.com.

JP Sherman was one of the co-writers of the Wazap Wikipedia article.

It’d be great if he could update it with what the #### went wrong.
