A small transformers logo in the card’s center (on the front) is a button that pops out Optimus’ head. The arms and legs can be manually pulled from the sides, extending a bit longer with hands that swivel sideways and feat that swivel out so he can stand. Once fully extended, he’ll stand about 5 1/2 in. tall which is pretty big considering it started at 2 3/8 in wide and 4 in. tall.
The funniest part of the packaging, it actually says, “Giftcard In Disguise” and points to the folded Optimus card.
The card measures 7/16 tin. at its thickest, making this a pretty hefty card. Like all Target gift cards, it is not charged with any cash, so you can sneak them out for free if you are sneaky, assuming there are any left. also, the backerboard is pretty tall (14 1/4 in, not including the hanger hole), so it’ll be easy to spot. Since the card is so thick, only a few can fit on the display at a time so you may have to ask an employee to grab one for you.
*sigh* How much of a nerd am I for collecting friggin’ gift cards?
