gamertell think geek mario luigi slot car cacing setThe most recent issue of ThinkGeek catalog has been delivered and, as usual, it features several gamer goodies. Here’s a list of the game-related goodies in the June 2008 ThinkGeek catalog.

Most Notable Game-Related Stuff:

  • Mario Kart Slot Car Racing Set (p. 24, $79.99) - We don’t need no stinkin’ Wii.  Play Mario Kart in the RW. They call it a collectible, but we call it pretty dern cool.
  • Optimus Maximus Keyboard (p. 14, $1,589.99) - Yeah, it’s a keyboard that costs a grand and a half. The reason for the cost - each key (all 113) has a mini OLED screen on it, so you can have your own avatars, icons, computer conditions, etc. displayed on any key you want. It also has a USb hub built-in and an internal SD card slot. For those who want a smaller, more affordable dose of the coolness, the site also offers a three-key version for $134.99.
  • Legend of Zeda Plush Link (p. 24, $24.99) - Love him, squeeze him and save your own imaginary princess. This one is patterned on Link from Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, complete with green outfit and mini plush sword.
  • Gears of War and World of Warcraft Series 2 Action figures (p.26, $59.99) - Eight highly detailed action figures, perfect for your collection or for some tabletop role-playing.
  • Cyborg Robotic Gaming Keyboard (p. 26, $84.99) - In case the other one if too expensive for your gaming need, this one featues nifty backlights and is adjustable. At least it looks bad-ass.
  • Halo 3 Full-Size Plasma Weapons (p. 27, $79.99 - $129.99) - Scare the crap out of your boss (or simply confuse the heck out of ‘em) with these impressive weapon replicas.
  • Halo 3 Messenger Bag (p. 27, $39.99) - It’s the only way to conceal your Halo 3 replica weapons.

  • Dueling Space Marines (p. 2, $39.99) - These mini remote-controlled helicopters look so much like Master Chief you’d expect a lawyer to ship with the game just to make certain you never, ever utter that game name that rhymes with “Play-Dough.“
  • R/C Ninja vs. Pirate (p. 2, $19.99) - Cute, puffy, inflatable and remote controlled.
  • 8-Bit Tie (p 5, $14.99) - This has been around for a while but it still makes my inner ‘70s child gamer giggle.
  • 8-Bit Dynamic Life Shirt (p. 6, $24.99) - Think Castlevania. Zelda. OK, pretty much a gazillion games that use mini hearts to portray life. Black t-shirt with pixelated hearts half filled.
  • Grow Your Own 1Up Mushroom (p. 6, $9.99) - It’s a mini green pot shaped like a Super Mario Bros. pipe. You add soil, plop a green mushroom (PVC?) on top, add water and it slowly rises. Good times and affordable.
  • Super Mario Singing Glow Star (p. 25, $17.99) - The perfect partner to the 1Up Mushroom, this glowing power star lights up and plays music. Maybe the music will help the 1Up mushroom grow.
  • Mana Energy Potion Six Pack (p. 26, $19.99) - These look like little potion bottles, Great for your LARPing party or trip to the Ren Fest. They pack twice the boost of your average engergy drink, and probably make you glow for a few seconds, too.
  • Tetrius Puzzle Game magnets (p. 26, $9.99) - Looks like Tetris. Plays like Tetris (on your fridge). Sounds like Tetris. Add an “I” and it’s not Tetris. Russian accent not included.
  • Pac-Man Magnets (p. 26, $8.99) - This little set of magnets is just cute enough to make your lame mini fridge tice as cool. One magnet has Pacs, two blue ghosts and some dots and says “Eat Me.“ Get it. Oh, they funny.
  • Mario/Luigi Campaign T-Shirt (p. 27, $14.99-$16.99) - A simple presidential style T-shirt that reads “Mario Luigi ‘08 It’s-A Merica.“ Yes I already own this one and wore it to the primaries.
