Personal Trainer: Walking

How would you like to take your Mii with you wherever you go? It certainly sounds like an untapped gold mine that Nintendo has yet to dig into.

Well it seems that Nintendo has stealthily unlocked this Mii transporting ability for Personal Trainer: Walking for the DS. Kotaku were given the heads up on this new feature and we all hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Mii’s on the DS.

If you get a copy of Personal Trainer: Walking when it’s released on May 26, 2009, you too can transport your Mii to the DS. All you have to do is go to the Mii Channel on the Wii and press A, B, 1, and hold 2. Afterward, you’ll see a screen that says, “Waiting for a connection from a DS that can communicate with the Wii Channel.” The Mii will tell you how far you’ve walked through a series of charts and graphs. You can also get three more people to track their walking progress on one game cartridge.

Personal Trainer: Walking comes with two Activity Meters or pedometers that you can put in your pocket or purse as you walk around. Once you insert the card into your DS, the rest is taken care of for you. All you have to do then is check back in to see how your life rhythm is holding up.

Editor’s Note: Personal Trainer: Walking includes the specific instructions to transfer your Mii and guides you through the steps on the DSi. You can also make a few small changes to your Mii for the DSi game (choice of six outfits and outfit color). After you perform the button pressing combo, the “Connect to DS” icon will remain in your Wii’s Mii Channel. Look for a review of Personal Trainer: Walkingon Gamertell close to the release date.
