Test Midnight Club: LA downloadable content potentially dangerous to save files
Special Features
Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

Early today (January 13, 2008) downloadable content for Midnight Club: LA accidentally found its way onto the Xbox Live Marketplace. The content was being tested when the leak occurred and isn’t completely ready to be played just yet. The problem is that the download could corrupt your save files and force you to start all over again.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the achievements that come with the DLC don’t even work.
The Xbox community manager in London, Graeme “Aceybongos” Boyd, encourages anyone who downloaded the content to delete it right away.
The content in question is presumably the South Central Upgrade Pack that was announced mid-December 2008. It will provide a new area of the city to play on that’s about one-third the size of the original map. This add-on is free but the South Central Content Pack includes new cars, character competitions, races and new music for an undisclosed price.
