The lime green DS lite bundle, complete with Personal Trainer: Cooking and a matching carrying case, is on sale for $139, as opposed to the normal price of $149.99. I took the liberty of gazing through the Sunday ads for Best Buy, Toys ‘R Us and Kmart, they were right in front of me after all, and found that all three are advertising the same bundle for the standard $149.99 price.
The 8gb, 4th generation iPod nanos seem to be a less spectacular deal, since the sale price is $146 compared to the normal price of $149.99. However, if you purchase said iPod nano during the sale period, you also receive a Soap & Glory $25 value bath set. The image is small, but it appears the bath set comes with the Great Shakes hand cream, the Clean on Me body wash, the Calm One, Calm All body soak, a pink pouf mesh sponge and two small jars that could contain either body scrub or body butter.
The Soap & Glory bath set promotion also applies to the $129 sale Kodak Zi6 camcorder and $146 TomTom One 140 GPS.
Game-wise, there are also a few titles that mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, etc may enjoy. The new DS game Gardening Mama, normally $29.99, will be $19.99. Also, two Wii fitness titles’ prices are reduced. Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009 drops from $39.99 to $29.99 and Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout drops from $29.99 to $19.99 during the sale period.
Remember, the 4th generation iPod nanos work perfectly with the iPod games available in the iTunes Store, in case you want to load one up with music and games and make it a little more special.
