Target, Best Buy and 7-Eleven are coming to MapleStory
Nexon is now holding the first MapleStory contest with MapleStory Europe’s Maple Star costume contest. The contest, which began October 18, 2007, is part of the Halloween festivities sprinkled throughout the month of October in the game. European players with a character above level 10 will have the opportunity to strut the virtual catwalk when they create a costume with the various items available in the Cash Shop. The contest will be running for the next three weeks, during which time fellow players will be judging all who enter. Anyone with a valid MapleStory Europe account may offer feedback and vote in the contest. The winner will be the player who has received the most ‘Love It’ votes, and the grand prize is 70,000 Maple Points and the Maple Star title.
MapleStory is a free to play, 2D MMORPG which was created by the Korean company Nexon in 2003. The title currently boasts 72 million accounts active worldwide. MapleStory Europe is the newest division of the game and can be played in English, French, German, Spanish, and Dutch. It is an addictive, side scrolling game where players battle endlessly in the quest to level up and get points to buy stuff for their little anime-style avatars. Unfortunately, there has been no such contest announced for North American players.
