Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

In a wooden box that measures approximately 19 x 19 in. (packed in an even larger cardboard box), the Walt Disney Internet Group sent a wooden ship replica. The ship was sent to promote Pirates of the Caribbean Online, as was clearly stamped on two sides of the wooden box/crate. On alternate sides of the box was stamped the game’s slogan, “Live the Legend.”
The ship stands about 13 inches tall and is about 13 inches at its wides. I isn’t one of those fancy schmancy hand-made deals you see in bottles, so don’t be too jealous. It’s more like a toy, but still nicer - and more delicate - than something I’d let my 1-year-old play with.
On the base of the ship, on the stand, is a small metal plague with the Pirates logo and the site’s URL.
In it was also packaged a press disc and, for media members, a one-year subscription to the game (guess what reviews you’ll see flooding the interweb in the next few days?)
