Support the soldiers, send them fragging fun games

by Christopher Buckner on Feb 8, 2008 at 01:20 PM

video games for soldiersCheap Ass Gamer wants all gamers to remember that, while they are spending hours upon hours fragging your friends on Xbox Live or the PS3 Network, the tens of thousands of America’s brave men and women are overseas defending our freedoms on a daily bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

In an effort to show its appreciation to these men and women, CAG has organized a collection of used and unwanted video games that they will be sending out to U.S. troops around the world. They do ask that new and current-gen games be sent.

game for soldiers Once the troops have the games, all donated video games will be photographed along with their recipient where they will then be placed on CAG web site for all to be seen. A number of photographs can already be viewed.

Donations of their unwanted titles will no doubt bring a little piece of home and enjoyment to our brave heroes fighting overseas. Instead of heading down to your local game store for a trade-in, think about whom else might be eager to play Gear of War, Halo 3 or Heavenly Sword.

For anyone interested in making a donation, please send your game to:
