Subtitled Birth By Sleep trailer - catch it while you can!
On June 2, 2008, a copy of a Japanese Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep trailer was leaked onto the internet and uploaded to YouTube. PSP Fanboy reports that the video has returned to the internet again, only this time it has subtitles and credits. It was recorded by Khronnus and given English subtitles by Kaito. You better watch this video quick, before Square Enix catches this one too!
In case this video gets zapped as well, here’s a rundown of what happens. Master Xehanort taunts Terra, the hero of Birth By Sleep, saying he’s tired of waiting for Terra to join his side and he’s made a new “friend”. Terra demands to know what Xehanort did to “someone’s” heart. The trailer then shifts to show some footage of Terra in battles.
The trailer then shows Roxas, turning towards Xehanort. Roxas asks who Xehanort is, and Xehanort doesn’t answer. Instead Xehanort says Roxas hasn’t lost “it” permanently. It shifts to another scene, where Roxas is knocked to the ground. Mickey Mouse is standing to defend him, and Xehanort and Terra are also there. Xehanort says people engulfed in darkness can’t use keyblades, to which Terra retorts that he’d rather protect his friends rather than become a master. The trailer then ends with Roxas asking someone to erase him.
Birth By Sleep looks amazing. I can’t wait for another Square Enix PSP game, so I’m hoping either Final Fantasy Dissidia or Birth By Sleep is released by Christmas, 2008.
