Fighting game fans have been anxiously waiting for news about Capcom’s upcoming Street Fighter IV, and now we finally have confirmation as to which consoles the game will be coming to. Capcom has confirmed that SFIV will be heading to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, in addition to very lucky arcades.
The latest entry in the Street Fighter franchise is hoping to return the series to its former glory by getting back to its roots. The cast of characters has been drastically scaled back from the Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter III days, with just three new characters joining the cast of twelve from the original game. And while the game has made the move to three-dimensional graphics, the gameplay will stick to its 2D roots.
Unfortunately, while its great that the platforms for the game have been announced, we still have no idea when we will be able to get our hadoken on. Stay tuned for the announcement of a release date.
