Important Importables
Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

Throughout the sale you can find hundreds of games discounted 25% to 80% and, each day, the site includes select one-day deals that are especially decent.
Today (December 30, 2009), for example is Day Eight of the sale and you can get Left 4 Dead for $7.49 instead of the suggested retail price of $29.99. There’s also physics-based game Osmos for $1.99, Max Payne and Max Payne 2 for $2.49 each and Call of Duty: World at War for $24.99. These deals are on a timer so you have until the clock runs down to get them or they revert to some other more expensive price (though most will still be a bargain).
Previous days have included Mr. Robot for 80% off, Prey for 85% off, Torchlight 75% off and Prototype for 50% off.
Ongoing deals include discounted games of various genres and collections of games by LucasArts, Rockstar THQ, Atari, 2K, Eidos, Codemasters and Ubisoft.
The sale has already been going on for several days and will last until January 3, 2010. You can also purchase a game through the site and give it as a gift (you’ll need the recipient’s accurate email address).
As with all Steam products you must download the Steam client, which is free, to run the games. It works on Windows (2000, XP, vista and 7), 400 MHz processor or better, at least 64 MB RAM and an internet connection.
