Steal Princess stars Anis, that brown haired girl with the eye-patch on the cover. She’s a master thief who, at the beginning of the game, is trying to steal an evil lord’s treasure. She fails, but word gets around that she actually made it out of the castle alive. The royal family then calls Anis for an audience, tells her that the prince is held captive in the castle she was trying to rob and asks for her assistance. She agrees, and so players spend most of the adventure working through different areas until they are skilled enough to make another attempt at stealing the treasure and rescuing the prince.
Steal Princess also has some Nintendo WiFi Connection support. You can’t have a two-player challenge, where you face off to see who can complete a stage the fastest. You can, however, trade original levels you, or other people, have created. So it should add a touch more replay value.
It looks like an interesting new property - especially since you can customize your own levels. Plus, the game even has voice acting for the storyline scenes. It could be worth checking out, once its released. At the very least, its good to see that Atlus won’t let the US get left out.
