starcraft 2 box art Now you can enjoy the music of StarCraft II without leaving the game paused on every stage. The official soundtrack is now available on iTunes for $9.99. The 14 tracks on the album will give you over one hour of music. You can also buy each track individually for $0.99 each. Make sure you have iTunes version 9 or higher otherwise you won’t be able to partake in the soundtracks glory.

I don’t own StarCraft II. I don’t even have a PC capable of running StarCraft II at its recommended system specifications. However I have been watching other gamers stream the game online since it was released. The one thing that stood out most to me was the music. I remember tuning in to one stage and wondering if the person playing was using his own music in the game. It turns out I was listening to the actual music in StarCraft II. If you are as ignorant of StarCraft as I am, trust me when I say the soundtrack contains some of the best videogame music you will hear this year. I hear there’s some blips from the original StarCraft scattered throughout the songs too.
