So, was playing against Slash in Guitar Hero III not enough for you? Maybe you’d like to play with him? That’s now possible, since the rock legend is getting his own action figure by McFarlane Toys. Joining his other Guitar Hero III brethren, like the fictional characters God of Rock and Johnny Napalm, Slash will soon be immortalized in plastic.

Slash is, of course, the epic guitarist famous for Guns ‘N’ Roses and Velvet revolver. He’s also a nasty boss character in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and he has amazing hair. You’re going to have to wait a bit before you can get your hands on him, though. Activision’s press released revealed that the figure is expected in stores in February 2009. Valentines Day present, anyone?

Ok, so, this is cool and wacky and all, but raise your hand if you’re getting sick of Guitar Hero and think that the franchise is getting milked to death.
