Gamertell Spore MashON E-card MashON has a brand new e-card creator designed to promote Maxis’ Spore. The Spore e-card creator tool allows users to create a customized card featuring Spore environments and characters, and then send it. You do have to be a MashOn member to send cards, but membership is free and it is easy to create an account.

There are 12 different backgrounds and 64 different clip art characters that can be added to your card. The clip art characters can be rotated and positioned wherever you like on the background. Once you’ve picked out the best characters for you, you can add one of eight different word bubbles and write in some text. Then send it off to your favorite EA fan.

Its a nifty e-card creator, to be sure. Quite a few nice, customization options. The need to create an account just to send a card is a bit of a chore though. If you’re a fan of the forthcoming game, then I suppose its a worthwhile cross to bear.
