Sega Bleach Dark Souls DS screenshot Yoruichi Rukia Yachiru RangikuSega’s going to be showing up at the Penny Arcade Expo 2008 (PAX) that’s happening the last weekend in August, and they decided to prepare attendees by revealing its game lineup for the event. DS, PS2 and PS3 owners will be happy with the company’s offerings, as Bleach Dark Souls, Dinosaur King, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Valkyria Chronicles and Yakuza 2 will be on display.

So really, Sega’s going to use the event to show off some solid RPGs. Dinosaur King is a Pokemon-esque game for the DS, where you find fossils and create dinosaurs, and battle others who do the same. Sonic Chronicles is the DS Sonic the Hedgehog RPG from BioWare. Valkyria Chronicles is a PS3 strategic RPG with water-color style graphics that is receiving quite a bit of buzz. The other two titles being displayed, both sequels, are something special too, though.

Bleach: Dark Souls is the sequel to Bleach: The Blade of Fate. Its another DS fighter from Treasure, with an improved story mode and more characters. Yakuza 2 for the PS2 is the sequel to the original Yakuza. It is an action/sandbox game starring series hero Kazuma Kiryu as he tries to stop a gang war, and features a new location (Osaka), only Japanese voice acting and improved battle system.

PAX 2008 is set in downtown Seattle, Washington from August 29-31, 2008, and features panels and speakers, games (videogame, tabletop and card) to play and even some concerts. On Friday it runs from 2pm to 7pm, but on Saturday and Sunday it runs all day, from 10am to 6pm. If you’re interested, but didn’t register, then you’ll have to pay at the door for the event. Single day passes are $30 each, but a three day pass is $50.
