This is delicious: The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) just posted evidence that Valve’s superior online gaming platform Steam could be on it’s way to apple machines.
According to the post, Valve released a beta of the new Steam UI and Mac OS x (the current operating system for Macs) icons were included.
From the post:
Steam is, quite possibly, the best game distribution system there is on the planet and opening that platform up to Mac users (of which I am one) would be fantastic. For so long, I’ve drooled over the sales that Steam has (remember when BioShock was like, $5?), and envied the beauty of the integrated system.
Maybe, just maybe, I’ll get to join this party one day.
