Christian rockers who may not have been satisfied with the Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracklists will have an alternative by the end of September, 2008. Digitial Praise has announced that Guitar Praise, a Christian version of Guitar Hero is on the way. Guitar Praise is designed specifically for computers and features over 50 Christian rock songs from artists like Casting Crowns, David Crowder Band, dc Talk, Flyleaf, Reliant K and Newsboys. The game will also come with a specially created guitar controller which plugs into any USB drive.

So, if you’re a Christian rock fan and you’re interested in Guitar Praise, you’ll need to vist the official site and make sure you have a compatible computer. Guitar Praise only runs on Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X v.10.3 or later, and needs 650 MB of hard disc space. You’ll also need four AA batteries for each guitar. The game with a guitar is $99.95 and an extra guitar is $69.95.
