Remember how Europe got totally f**ked over when it came to the release of Rock Band? How it came out like eight months after the US launch and cost twice as much? Well, thankfully that’s not the case at all with the musical game’s sequel. EA has just announced that Rock Band 2 will launch in the UK and the rest of Europe in November - at least for the Xbox 360 (remember the “exclusive launch window thing? it applies here too). It looks like Europe will be getting the game on November 14th, while the UK launch is set for November 21, 2008. Pricing - for the game alone - is set at €69.99 and £49.99 for UK. Standalone instrument hardware is coming in December.
Ok, so, it’s not ideal, but it’s a lot better than the royal screw Euro gamers received with the last game. At least now, gamers across the pond can rock out like God intended - during the holidays - without waiting until it’s practically summer.
