Rock and roll dreams with Aerosmith and Guitar Hero

Activision has just made an astounding new announcement concerning the next entry in the Guitar Hero series. It seems the next title, which will be available on the PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360, will feature songs from only one band: Aerosmith. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will allow players to play guitar with the group as Joe Perry, Brad Whitford or Tom Hamilton. While the official press release does not give a release date, Gamefaqs listings for the game offers an expected June 2008 release window.
As an added bonus and to possibly hype up the forthcoming title, a free Aerosmith track for Guitar Hero III will be available through Xbox Live and the Playstation Store. “Dream On,” a track originally released on Aerosmith’s first album in 1973, will be free to download for February 16-18, 2008. So if you own the game, get online and start downloading.
I’m an Aerosmith fan. I really am. The last time they were in Chicago I even went to the concert. However a music video game which only features music from one band seems like it could get a bit tedious. Personally I enjoy variety when I’m playing Guitar Hero or other music game titles. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith sounds a little intriguing, since the band does have so many hits, but it doesn’t sound like it would be particularly successful.

I’m one of those who love hard rock foolishly. I love all hard rock bands but I have a special feeling for Aerosmith. This band is so special and has a different style. I do always try to see them on stage whenever they perform near to my town. But I find their tickets a little pricy and can’t afford sometimes. A friend has recommended me this site where to compare ticket prices for free before purchasing and look for the cheapest prices.

Unfortunately, I’ve never have chance to meet them in person. I do really love to.
Hi Santana -
I actually got to see Aerosmith live at the Allstate Arena with Joan Jett this summer. It was my first time seeing one of their concerts and it blew me away. They were great.
I did think Joan Jett’s opening was a bit better though. I’m a big fan of Joan Jett though so that’s probably why.
