Red Hot Chili Peppers’ classic album available on Rock Band

PeppersHarmonix has announced that the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 1991 album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik will be released as downloadable content (DLC) for Rock Band and Rock Band 2

The full 16-track album can be purchased for $20 or individual tracks can be bought for $2. Rock Band 2 will already have the Grammy award winning song, “Give it Away“ on its playlist, while the full album will include other classic singles “Suck My Kiss”, “Breaking the Girl” and “Under the Bridge.“ If you own an Xbox 360 the full album can be purchased now while Playstation 3 owners will have to wait until Thursday, October 2, 2008, to get their fill of the Chili Peppers.

The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s, Blood Sugar Sex Magik was released September 24, 1991. The track list is as follows:

1. “The Power Of Equality”
2. “If You Have To Ask”
3. “Breaking The Girl”
4. “Funky Monks”
5. “Suck My Kiss”
6. “I Could Have Lied”
7. “Mellowship Slinky In B Major”
8. “Righteous and the Wicked, The”
9. “Give it Away” *(already on the Rock Band 2 tracklist)
10. “Blood Sugar Sex Magik”
11. “Under The Bridge”
12. “Naked In The Rain”
13. “Apache Rose Peacock”
14. “The Greeting Song”
15. “My Lovely Man”
16. “Sir Psycho Sexy”
17. “They’re Red Hot”

Rock Band 2 has already been released but if your waiting on the bundle (like I am) then you’ve got a few more weeks to go as the full bundle will be on sale October 19, 2008.
