A massive price drop on the beloved iPhone/iPod Touch game Raging Thunder has just been announced by its creator, PolarBit. Normally $7.99, the price has temporarily been reduced to $3.99. Raging Thunder is a fairly popular, racing game from Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart‘s developer and is teeny, 2.8mb download.
You may recall that, back in June 2008, Appletell reported that four Palo Alto, CA teenagers were banned from all Apple Stores forever because they downloaded Raging Thunder from a computer at the University Avenue Apple Store. If those kids had just waited a few months, they could have actually purchased the game when it officially launched in the iTunes App Store on October 9, 2008, and not incurred Apple’s wrath.
