Since its March 2007 release, the DS release of Puzzle Quest has been burning up sales charts, especially the DS version, named the #1 selling puzzle game on Nintendo’s handheld, no easy feat with killer titles like Meteos and Planet Puzzle League as part of the lineup. The very definition of a sleeper hit, Puzzle Quest was quietly released and gathered fame largely by word of mouth and excellent reviews from major publications.
Anyone who hasn’t gotten completely, hopelessly addicted on the title’s mix of swords and sorcery style level building-meets-Bejeweled gameplay will have no excuse now. It will literally be available for every conceivable platform by early 2008.
