Postal manages to piss off non-paying crowd

Postal
At the risk of adding even more to the swarm of publicity surrounding the latest Uwe Boll game adaptation - Postal - this little bit of news was too good to pass up. According to GameLife, a free screening of the film (which involves several parodies of terrorism and the current administration) saw most of the audience walking out of the theater before the ending.

The culprit? Most theater goers were offended by the spoof of 9/11 involving planes flying into the world trade center. The venue was in New Jersey, so it stands to reason that many people were actually personally affected by the tragedy, and seven years is still far too soon to joke about what happened. That, or the flick is really that terrible.

Boll has stated time and again that he honestly sees Postal as a serious attempt to mock modern politically correct notions and such. In a way, I can see the logic behind that, but there’s also a little something called “poor taste” that screening this film (relatively) close to the site violates.
