PopCap is just one game company that has shown an effort to assist in rebuilding Haiti. Bungie is still offering to donate every dime it makes from selling its “Be a Hero” themed t-shirts and setting up special matches in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST to show support. Bungie reports that it has raised more than $100,000 from purchases from its store and through the special “Be a Hero” matchmaking games that took place last Wednesday (January 20, 2010) and Thursday (January 21, 2010).
Both Bungie and PopCap encourage gamers to donate to the organization of their choice to continue to help the Haitian people.
