Jenni Lada brings us information about all of the groovy new gaming imports from around the world.

To share some of Capcom’s excitement, Capcom’s own John Diamonon dropped by the PlayStation blogs today (October 10, 2008) to talk about Age of Booty.
He didn’t comment if the new game will use the Trophy system or not, only that the game costs $10 for all platforms (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Windows) and will allow up to 8 players for online matches with four local matches and will have more map packs available in future expansions.
The game is rated E for Everyone and contains alcohol reference, mild fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes. The release dates are October 15, 2008, for the Xbox LIVE Arcade and October 16, 2008, for the Playstation Network. No dates have been announced for the PC version of the game yet.
The game is a casual strategy game that lets players control their own pirate ship as they sail the virtual seas on a quest to loot and capture towns or sink their enemies during their travels. Players can use the loot they gain to customize and upgrade their ships, take on 25 different challenges and seven pirate alliances to gain fame alone or with a group of friends. Players can also create and share their own custom maps with other players using the map creation system in the game.
