No, this isn’t another Dodgeball film but an upcoming game created by new developing company Blazing Lizard, which is pretty giddy that its first title has just been picked up by indy producers, Gamecock.
The game pits ninjas and pirates against each other in matches similar to the movie Dodgeball. Other playable characters aside from pirates and ninjas will be included as the series grows but they have not yet been announced. According to Gamecock’s CEO Mike Wilson, it takes a lot to grab Gamecock’s attention and said Pirates vs Ninjas may take gameplay to a whole new level.
For now, it is currently planned as a downloadable multi-player game that will be available next year. No consoles if any have been named yet. The only other available information about the game is the gameplay players can expect from the game when its ready.
