A few days ago we commented on the unfortunate situation involving Electronic Arts Inc. and Pandemic Studios. Due to the current economic situation, EA was forced to close Pandemic as part of a plan aimed at restructuring the company.

In an effort to make some light of the situation a group of Pandemic’s former employees made a video recreating one of the most famous scenes in the movie Office Space.

In the original, there is this particularly nasty printer that gives everybody at the office a very hard time again and again. After being fired due to downsizing of the company, three friends steal the printer, take it to an empty lot and then proceed to beat the crap out of it with a baseball bat.

I guess the scene is funnier once you see it in context with the whole movie. Office Space is a classic and anyone who has ever had to work inside a cubicle can relate to it. It is a must see for anyone working a 9 to 5.

It’s great for the guys and gals at Pandemic to take the situation in a positive way. The economic situation has affected people around the world and sometimes it can be really hard for some but the best attitude is to try to look forward and move on.
