Octomania looks adorable

by Jenni Lada on Feb 6, 2008 at 08:05 PM

Octomania box artValue Wii titles are always great, because we always need a break every now and again from Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy. Atlus has just announced that on March 11, 2008, they will release Octomania, a new casual puzzle game for the system. Octomania will feature anime style graphics, online multiplayer, classic puzzle fun along the lines of Tetris, Columns or Bejeweled and an octopus or two. The best part is the price, only $19.99.

Octomania gets its name from the legions of octopi which have hailed down on the Lonronpia. The magician Kari accidentally messed up a spell, and brought the many-armed mob upon the land. It is now her responsibility to clean everything up.

The Wii has been missing a great online puzzle game. It really needed something along the lines of Puzzle Fighter or the other titles mentioned above. Hopefully Octomania can fill that gap.
